Open Educational Resources (OERs) are teaching and learning resources that reside in the public domain or have been released under a license that permits their free use, reuse, modification, and sharing with others. They are published under open licenses (i.e Creative Commons) that specify how materials can be used, shared, and modified according to specific needs. They can include textbooks, lecture notes, syllabi, assignments, and tests.
